Since the revolution began in 2011, over one million children have been forced from their homes. The horrors of living in a war zone in Syria are compounded by the stress of fleeing to a refugee camp. Project Amal ou Salam (“Hope and Peace”) offers emotional support to traumatized young Syrian refugees by facilitating workshops that are conducted in safe, nurturing environments.
