Save 30 Acres For The Maned Wolf

FUNDED June 14 2013 – Thank You!

ManedWolfThe Maned Wolf moves on long thin legs uniquely adapted to let this rare creature to see above tall grass when hunting.

Today, those traditional hunting grounds are shrinking as more and more of Bolivia’s grasslands disappear. Throughout their traditional range, grasslands are giving away to cultivated fields, leaving these unusual members of the wolf family without a home.

The World Land Trust-US has an opportunity to acquire acres of the Beni savanna, a biologically rich area that is home not only to the Maned Wolf, but also to the critically endangered blue-throated Macaw and other amazing species.
