A True Gentle Giant, Adoptable Cue Just Wants to Be Loved

San Diego Humane Society

Meet Cue! Mr. Cue is an incredibly handsome fella with a sweet, friendly disposition. He came to the San Diego Humane Society as a stray, and they are still learning new things about him. While in their care, Cue has had some dental treatments, and his new forever family will need to keep up with his future care, as needed.

He has been very wiggly and enjoying all of the treats, attention, and back scratches he can get since he was rescued. Like so many puppers, Cue is very food motivated, and staff at SDHS believe that would be a great way of getting to know him — by offering yummy treats or perhaps Denta Bones and Stix to keep his gums and teeth healthy.

At the shelter, Cue showed some reactivity towards dogs, but since he has been spending time in foster care, he's been doing much better when he encounters other woofers while out on walks. His foster reports he is a big lap dog and an excellent house guest to date.

Cue is crate trained, potty-trained, does well with the children in his current living situation, and has wonderful leash manners. This gentle giant rarely barks and is happy to be at home cuddling on a couch! Mr. Cue is ready to be the best friend you need and is patiently waiting for his amazing new family!

For a bit of basic info, Cue is a blue and white American Staffordshire Terrier Mix who is fixed and thought to be 8.5 years old while weighing about 92 pounds. To adopt this cutie-patootie, please call SDHS at (619) 299-7012.
For reference, Cue's ID# is 228695.

His adoption fee is $30.00 and includes his spay/neuter costs, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, an incentive for pet insurance from MetLife, and a license for residence in the city limits of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Encinitas, Escondido, Imperial Beach, Oceanside, Poway, San Diego, San Marcos, Santee, Solana Beach, and Vista.

If you know of someone who is looking for a pet like Cue or might be, please, please share his information with them to help improve Cue's chances of finding a forever home this year. After all, sharing is caring!
