Photographer Captures Rare View Of Bright Red Northern Lights Over Alaska

We may have many things on our bucket list, but one that should be considered is seeing the northern lights. They are not only worth seeing, but they may also make you stick around so you can see them again.
Unfortunately, seeing the northern lights is not always a straightforward process. We may travel to a part of the world where they are common, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will occur while we are in the area.

Then again, if you travel to Alaska and stick around for any length of time, you are likely to see the aurora borealis in all its glory.
You will see that it is not only something to include on your bucket list. It is something that you need to check off.

Recently, a photographer named Nicholas Narog was able to capture footage of the aurora borealis from the area of Coldfoot, Alaska. The pictures are unique, not only because of the northern lights' beauty but also the color.
He shared photos and a time-lapse video of the aurora borealis on Instagram, sharing he captured the stunning footage about 50 miles above the Arctic Circle. It was not only a green color, there was a red Aurora included, something considered to be quite rare. Check it out below:
