This Cat Drags Her Ginormous Blanket Everywhere She Goes

Many animals have a favorite item hat they love to carry around. Fir some it may be a stick or a stuffed toy or a bone or a ball. It could be really any little object. But it's rare to see a pet dragging something around the house that weighs more than they do!

Blarn the long-haired pastel calico cat has a special ivory-colored blanket that she absolutely adores. No one really knows why it's her favorite, but she truly loves to carry it from the living room to the bedroom and really all around the house.

Her owner reports that the blanket weighs more than the cat does, but she doesn't let that stop her. She straddles the blanket and does a funny waddle over the top of it or walks next to it as she drags it all over the house between her teeth.

Sometimes Blarn has to take a moment to think through her strategy before going around a corner or making some other difficult maneuver, but she always figures it out, and she never lets the challenges deter her from participating in her favorite activity.

Blarn waits patiently if her human is using the blanket; she won't just steal it while it's someone else's turn. What a polite girl! But as soon as the blanket is alone, Blarn is all over it.

Apparently the blanket isn't the only thing Blarn carries around, although it is her favorite. She has also been known to "fetch" the belt to her human's robe and other long thin objects. But the blanket is her favorite and also her biggest toy.

I'm sure you can guess how much Blarn loved it when her human made a blanket fort for her and her kitty sister, Edna. But you should totally watch anyway to see the blast that the two kitties had playing with their human among all the soft blankets.
