Dramatic Footage Shows Boulder Crashing Through Living Room Wall In Hawaii

A family in Honolulu, Hawaii narrowly escaped tragedy when a huge boulder crashed through their home from the hill behind them.

A video of the incident, caught by the home's security system, shows the boulder crashing through the wall and rolling into the bedroom - narrowly missing a woman.

According to Hawaii News Now, the incident occurred at a house on Palolo Avenue in the Pālolo Valley in Honolulu, Hawaii.

A woman inside the home barely escaped the massive boulder as it crashed through the home's cinder block wall, living room, and another wall. It stopped in the home's bedroom.

Per the outlet, none of the four people inside the home were injured, though the boulder did damage a car (and the house).

The Sasaki family had just moved into the home this month when the incident occurred. They're unsure what caused the boulder to crash through their home, though recent and heavy rainfall could have played a role.

The boulder was estimated to be around 5 feet in height and width, and in the viral video, it sounds like a canon breaking through the home.

A Twitter account called Fifty Shades of Whey shared the video on social media, with the caption: "This is crazy. A boulder in Palolo, Hawaii smashed through someone's home and narrowly missed them. Nobody was injured."
