Friendly Capybara Wants To Introduce His Human Friend To The Rest Of The Family
Most people are familiar with capybaras, even though they may not see them in the wild. They are the largest rodents in the world, but unless you live in certain parts of South America, you may not see them in your area.
More than likely, however, you are familiar with guinea pigs. capybaras are related to guinea pigs, and you can see the resemblance, although capybaras are giants in comparison.
In the wild, they will live near water and spend about half of the time they are alive in the water. Some people have them as pets but others are found in the wild.
According to Cuddle Buddies, Luciano Mochinski was familiar with capybaras because he would often pass them as he was running through his area in Brazil. He didn't get too close to them but sometimes, he would take pictures or videos.
One day when he was running in the rain, something unusual happened. A capybara decided to follow along and get some shelter from his umbrella.
From that moment forward, his friend, Capi, continued to look for him. These animals are not typically fond of being that close to a human, but Capi seemed to want to be nearby.
It wasn't long before Luciano and Capi were friends. He would go on his run, and when he saw the rodent, he would stop to give her a scratch.
There was one day when he was in the park, and he noticed new members of the group. They were babies, and soon he learned that they were Capi's babies.
She never ventured very far away from them, and she would nurse them and keep them safe. Although she was protective, she would allow Luciano to get relatively close to them. Eventually, he was also able to pet and play with them.
Amazingly, they continued with their friendship, and it's a beautiful thing to see. Check out the video below:

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
