According to the BBC, Sox is known to stray from home. Roe said she's had to collect him from various places, including a nightclub!

Despite his habit to wander, Roe continues to let him outside. But now, he's taken things a step further.

The BBC reports that sneaky feline hopped into a stranger's car in Herne Bay. The person drove the cat to a veterinarian some 15 minutes away in Whitstable.

Before the cat could be formally checked in at the vet, he slipped away from the stranger and found another car to hitchhike with!

The person who owned the car didn't notice the cat at first. They were driving from Whitstable to London when they noticed the cat.

They said, "We were driving down the motorway, singing along as you do on the drive home, chatting away, and all of a sudden this head pops in between the two chairs."

Of course, it was alarming to find a cat in the car. It was even more alarming when the car's owner discovered the feline hailed from Herne Bay, around 70 miles away from her.

Thankfully, a Good Samaritan offered to drive Sox back home to Herne Bay.

Roe said the cat is "grounded" for the time being. Let's hope he won't be let outside to free roam again! This situation turned out just fine, but Sox could've been kidnapped, lost forever, or injured in his wild adventures.

I guess, as they say, all is well that ends well.
