15 Cats Ready to Unleash Mayhem on the Christmas Tree

No one rocks around the Christmas tree quite like a cat. When feline owners set our holiday decorations up, we do so with the full knowledge that things may, and probably will, go horribly wrong. Of course, the cats think these shiny decorations for them to attack are something that has gone horribly right. We asked for some pictures of your feline friends getting into the holiday spirit as only they can, and you sure delivered! Here are some of our favorites.

In this photo submitted by Carla Moury, we see a tasteful, simple way to decorate a tree. Just add a red tabby.

Can Cats Do an Evil Laugh?

Kristi Kassen's contribution was this cat, who based on his or her face, definitely doesn't have diabolical plans for the Christmas ornaments.

Reach for the Stars

...Or at least the decorations the humans have expertly placed. Kristin Adams says of her picture, "Morticia having a grand time. Notice we do not decorate at her level."

One with the Ornaments

Here, Kim Biggs' cat Bentley is such a natural, you could confuse him as just another ornament... an ornament that is fighting the other ornaments, but that's not weird at all.

'Just Innocently Looking at This Ornament, Don't Mind Me'

In this feline footage captured by Wendy Johnson, an ornament strike is imminent.

One Singular Furry Ornament on the Tree

Along with this submission, Janice Timms says, "Decided not to even decorate the tree since I have this cute little one."
