Dog Chews Through Front Door Letter Box In An Attempt To Escape
A dog in Fife, Scotland has been making waves in the community after being filmed chewing a hole through the front door.
The mischievous dog managed to make quite a hole in the door by chewing through the letter box.
Marc King spotted the dog and pulled out his camera to film. He shared the video on TikTok, writing: "Dogs literally chewed the letter box out and making its way through door."
He captioned the post, "Walking out your dad's to see dog literally eat through a door."
According to The Metro, the dog in the video was identified as Angel, a 4-year-old Japanese Akita.
According to the American Kennel Club, Akitas are not generally great with families, kids, or other dogs. They're tough to train and need a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation.
After seeing the video of Angel, many people in the comments feared the poor pup needed some extra exercise or a way to destress.
STV News reports that Angel is one of three dogs that live with Suzanne Connelly and her family.
Apparently, she was out running her kids to daycare when the incident occurred.
Per STV News, she said, "Sometimes he chews through things, such as toys. But he's never done anything like that before. Initially we were worried if the dog had hurt himself. Animal welfare came out to check over him, but they left after they realised he came from a loving home."
