Dog Saved From Euthanasia Can't Stop Playing Like a Puppy Now

A dog saved from euthanasia can't stop playing like a puppy now that she's safe and loved!

According to a YouTube video shared by Sidewalk Specials, Ruby was brought into a vet's office as a stray.

The vet thought that Ruby had an owner out there somewhere, but no one ever came for the dog. Weeks passed, and eventually, the vet made the decision to euthanize Ruby. No one was claiming the dog, and she didn't have anywhere else to go. But that's when rescuers with Sidewalk Specials stepped up to help.

The rescuers took Ruby from the vet to save her from euthanasia. They posted that she was looking for a forever home, and it wasn't long before someone inquired about Ruby.

Ruby might've had a rough and unknown past, but that didn't crush her spirits. Her new owner refers to her as a "puppy dog."

"She's just been my little shadow," her new mama said.

Ruby also has a doggy brother who she loves to play with. She gets plenty of love, cuddles and run time!

With her new family, Ruby gets to take trips to the beach and enjoy freedom like she's never known before. Ruby is truly living her best life!

It's heartbreaking to think she was almost euthanized at the vet. We're so glad Sidewalk Specials stepped up to help!
