One person who knows this all too well is a woman named Day Morais. When her baby started crawling around, it was the faithful family dog that stood careful watch over the tiny child to keep her out of harm's way.

In the clip, you can see the faithful pooch sitting watch while the baby crawls across the kitchen floor. As the baby scoots further out of reach, the dog leaps up and follows closely.

The dog never takes her eyes off the small baby as she crawls around and explores. It's a great demonstration of how special the relationship can be between kids and dogs.
