Dogs Left Behind in War-Torn Ukraine City Miraculously Survive and Are Finally Rescued
The war in Ukraine continues as Russian forces increase the frequency and intensity of attacks. Multiple cities are being bombed as the frontline continues to move and animals are being left behind.
Heroes at Animal Rescue Kharkiv (ARK) continue to enter the dangerous villages to rescue animals. The team recently went to a home that was hit by a missile and found the dogs had by some miracle survived.
They were frightened but relieved to see humans.
The dogs were taken to Patron Pet Center to begin their recovery, both physically and mentally. Thanks to your continued support, the center will ensure the dogs have time to decompress in soundproof kennels, eat nutritious food, get medical care, and work with dog trainers to adjust to their new life.
Once they have fully recovered, they will be put up for adoption. These dogs are the lucky ones who were rescued in time. Sadly, there are many more still waiting to be rescued.
