Abandoned Puppies Are Fighting for Their Lives Against Deadly Virus
Andrea Powell
A call came in from a concerned resident about puppies abandoned in a vacant lot in Alabama. Rescuers responded and found four sick puppies in desperate need of medical care.

The puppies were lethargic, no interest in food, and little interest in anything - all signs of canine parvovirus. They feared the puppies were battling the deadly and highly virus, and testing onsite confirmed these puppies are fighting for their lives.

While fluids and care were immediately started, one puppy did not survive. The other three terrier mixes have been named Blue, Bebo, and Basil and need your support to survive. Every minute matters.

Without treatment, puppies with symptoms of parvovirus can die within 48-72 hours.
They have a long and expensive battle ahead and need all the help they can get. Treatment will include a combination of IV antibiotics and fluids as well as round-the-clock veterinary care.

These little fighters are not giving up. Donate today to help save their lives.
