Young Fox Barely Escapes Wildfire with Severe Burns and a Broken Leg
Andrea Powell
Wildfires are raging around the world endangering people, pets, and wildlife. As the flames rapidly spread, wild animals are running for their lives.
Sadly, not all make it out alive.

The ones that do survive are sometimes injured like Pink Paws, a young fox found with badly burned paws, singed whiskers, and a fractured leg. She broke her leg trying to flee the fire and scorched her paws.
She arrived at ANIMA along with other burned wildlife who are getting treated by a team of veterinarians.

She survived the fire, but her fight isn't over. She will need months of intensive care and surgery to heal. Will you help her get the medical care she needs?

Pink Paws is receiving pain medication, antibiotics, and ointment for her burned paws. She will need surgery to repair her fractured right femur. Her whiskers should grow back with time.

This poor fox has been through a lot but remains calm. Her world has been turned upside down. She not only lost her home but is now in pain in a strange place.
Donate today to help her heal. The wildfire survivor has a long and expensive road to recovery. Help us reach our goal of $6,000 for her and others like her. Every dollar helps.
