Meet Delia.

She has been through a lot, but thanks to a network of rescue partners she is on the road to recovery.

Delia arrived as a stray at Rosenberg Animal Control and Shelter in Texas and did not do well with shelter life.

The shelter director reached out to Laura Berg, founder of Berg Foster Life - Animal Rescue, for help. Delia would hide under her bed and snap at any volunteer who tried to come near. She wasn't going out for walks and her quality of life was declining.

She transformed into a loving and friendly dog as soon as she entered a foster home with Berg. She was then transferred to Ruff Start Rescue in Minnesota to find a loving home.

Delia was examined, microchipped, and vaccinated before heading to another foster home. Just a few days later, she fell ill and was rushed back to the rescue.

The medical team discovered sweet Delia is suffering from large, painful bladder stones. She needs emergency surgery to relieve the pain and regain her health.

The rescue reached out to Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund for help with her medical bills. Together with your support, Delia and animals like her get the second chance they deserve.

Help us raise $4,000 for Delia.
