Do you remember the heartbreaking story of a starved dog (we called Barb) rescued by Krystina in Ukraine? She was emaciated and could barely stand on her own. 

Thanks to your generous donations and dedicated staff at Under the Sun, she survived. But her story doesn't end there.

She slowly regained weight and her strength and started to walk on her own again. When she finally reached an ideal weight and was cleared by the vet, Krystina fulfilled her promise to her - to find a loving home. 

She was adopted by a family in Europe who already had one Doberman and was looking for another. They fell in love with Barb, who is now called Roksy. She made the long journey to her new home leaving her pain behind.

Her new life is filled with love, soft beds, playtime, and a family who adores her. She will never go hungry again.
