Life on the streets of war-torn Ukraine is hard for homeless dogs and cats, especially for older ones with untreated wounds and illnesses like Lapa.
This sweet senior dog was found struggling to walk with a large oozing tumor on her front leg. Krystina rescued her and took her to a local vet who performed an examination. Lapa is roughly ten years old and who knows how many of those years were spent on her own.

She is a sweet and friendly dog, despite all the pain she is in. The tumor on her leg is cancerous and needs to be removed immediately.
Lapa is receiving pain medication while she waits to have surgery. After her procedure, she will need daily bandage changes and continued medication to help her heal.

Every step she takes is painful, but she continues to wag her tail in thanks to her caretakers. Help Lapa get the medical care she needs to recover and walk without pain.
