Fans Finish Song For Lewis Capaldi While He Struggles With Tourette's
Fans rallied together to finish a highly anticipated song for Lewis Capaldi when his Tourette's Syndrome got the best of his voice.
The touching moment unfolded at the packed tour stop in Frankfurt, Germany, when 26-year-old Capaldi began singing his popular song, "Someone You Loved."
As he pours his heart and voice into the music, however, a tic interrupts the music. He manages to overcome it and get right back into the music, but then a larger tic takes over.
While it might've been silence at that point, the audience had a different idea and they picked up the music for him!
TikTok user @katharina.shry shared the touching video with the caption, "we support you!! @Lewis Capaldi."
She wrote in the text overlay, "Fans finishing off the song for Lewis as he was [struggling] with his Tourette's>>."

According to RollingStone Magazine, he opened up his Tourette's Syndrome diagnosis back in 2022, saying: "It's a new thing, I haven't really learned much about it. I'm learning. I've got Botox on my shoulder to stop it moving. It worked for a bit."
"It happens all the time. Some days it's more painful than others and some days it's less painful. It looks a lot worse than it is. Sometimes it’s quite uncomfortable … but it comes and goes," he added.
Despite the diagnosis, Capaldi is continuing to sing and perform, at least for the time being. Seeing how his fans respond to his tics is really touching and gives hope that the singer will be able to continue his career for years to come.
