At-Risk Shelter Dogs Get Second Chance at Finding Love with Flight to Freedom
Andrea Powell
Dogs love unconditionally and just want the same in return. Sadly, there are millions of dogs waiting in shelters across the country for someone to love.
Some are even at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space, resources, and adopters. They all deserve a chance to find love, so we are conducting a Flight to Freedom that will save over 50 dogs from overcrowded shelters in Louisiana and Alabama.

With your support, these dogs will fly to New Jersey to find their special someone. You can play cupid to dogs like Ringo, Magnolia, and Gingerbread Man, all who are asymptomatic heartworm positive. They will receive treatment at their new shelters before being adopted.
Ringo

This three-year-old beagle is easygoing and laid back. He is described as a total sweetheart who just wants to curl up in your lap. Ringo is ready to find love in New Jersey.
His caretakers said, "With a soft Beagle gaze and a love for companionship, he’s ready for a home that values quiet moments, shared space, and a loyal friend by their side."
Magnolia

The two-year-old terrier mix is ready to leave to experience love for the first time in her life. Her previous owners dumped her along a rural road. She remains a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new people.
"Magnolia has remained open-hearted and trusting, showing just how resilient dogs can be when given care and consistency. She is very sweet, people-friendly, and enjoys being close to those around her," shared her current shelter.
Gingerbread Man

There is no outrunning this big fella's love. The one-year-old lab/mastiff mix has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He will follow you wherever you go, never leaving your side.
According to his caretakers, "He’s a super goofy, very outgoing boy who brings joy into every room he enters—often with a wagging tail and a playful grin. Beneath the silliness is a smart, attentive dog who redirects easily and enjoys engaging with the people around him."
