Rescuers Refuse To Give Up On Drowning Feral Pig Despite Her Protests
Life can be difficult when you are a feral pig. One female wild boar experienced this when she was stuck in a water pit.
According to The Dodo, the little pig struggled to get out of the pit but was unable to do so. It's a good thing Animal Warrior Conservation Society was there to assist.
When they arrived at the scene, the rescuers knew immediately that the boar needed assistance. The problem was, she wasn't thrilled with the humans in her area.
They decided to regroup and attempt the rescue differently when she started acting aggressively. Additionally, they would've gone into the water, but an aggressive pig in such a situation can be difficult to manage.
Eventually, they decided to form a lasso and get it around her. She still had difficulty with this form of rescue and was biting the ropes due to her lack of trust.
It took a few tries but they were eventually able to get the rope around the pig and pull her out of the water. They had to be cautious they didn't harm her with the ropes, but it almost seemed as if she understood what they were trying to do.
After the boar made it out of the pit, she made one last aggressive move toward her rescuers and then disappeared into the forest. Even though she didn't seem to appreciate the rescue, the rescuers were still happy with their success.
