Fire-Breathing Demon Shelter Dog Needs Someone Who Can Tell Him No
Many dog owners have a hard time telling their pups "No", but without proper boundaries they can turn into unruly "fire-breathing demon" like a French bulldog named Ralphie.
The handsome fella looks harmless with his adorable underbite smile but is described as a "terror in a small package".
Niagara SPCA posted a brutally honest post about Ralphie in hopes of finding him a forever home. He arrived at the shelter after presumably taking over his home where no boundaries were set. According to his caretakers, "At first glance, he's an adorable highly sought after, young dog. People should be banging down our doors for him. We promise you, that won't be the case."
If you are thinking that he can't be that naughty since he only weighs 26 pounds...read on.
"He's a whole jerk- not even half. Everything belongs to him. If you dare test his ability to possess THE things, wrath will ensue. If you show a moment of weakness, prepare to be exploited," wrote the shelter.
He does not play well with others and will need an adult only home where he is the only pet. His new owner will need to be stern and consistent when he misbehaves, which is often.
The shelter assures potential adopters that they did not exaggerate his behavior and only added some humor in to "take off the edge". Ralphie is very demanding with a bite history and will need a structured home.
But all hope is not lost.
With proper training tools, which his previous trainer has offered to provide to his new adopters, Ralphie can and will be a good boy.
Anyone up for the challenge is asked to call the New York shelter for more information. However, they are asking for serious inquires only who meet all his requirements.
Be sure to share Ralphie's story to help him find his person.
