Over 70 shelter animals received the best treat on October 6, a one-way ticket to freedom in Wisconsin. Thanks to your generous donations and dedicated teams of staff and volunteers 58 dogs and 20 cats left overcrowded shelters and their fears behind as they boarded a Flight to Freedom. 

In the early morning hours, the dogs and cats were carefully loaded onto the plane and wished well by their sending shelter or rescue. It was all tail wags, howls, and meows when the plane touched down in Wisconsin.

The pets were greeted by friendly faces and transported back to their new shelters to settle in before meeting adopters. They will all soon find loving homes. 

One receiving shelter shared the eleven dogs that they took in and said they will be available the following day.
