Dramatic Golden Retriever Doesn't Realize Mom Is Watching

If you've ever had a golden retriever in your life, you already know they are one of the most adorable and lovable dogs out there. They love being around people but if you aren't around, they might not be quite as happy.

Some dogs just have a difficult time being alone and they might even suffer from separation anxiety. That seems to be the case with Cooper.

When his human mom, Amber, heard Cooper howling at the front door, she wondered what was happening. She quietly went to the railing at the top of the stairs so she didn't disturb the dog.

Amber also was shooting a video, just in case Cooper was alerting her to something. As it turned out, all the dog was doing was howling out of sheer loneliness.

Have you ever wondered what your dog does when you aren't at home? Some are going to go take a nap but it seems like Cooper is going to pine away, howling at the door until his mom gets home.

The problem was, Amber was home but her beloved dog didn't realize it. As the video is rolling, you can see the dog howling time after time, crying because he misses his mom so much.

Suddenly, Cooper looks up long enough to see his human mom standing there looking at him. When he sees her, the look on his face is absolutely priceless.

Amber wrote: "I don't think he realized I was home." She then added: "Well… until he saw me, lol."

After posting the video, people came out in full force to express how much they loved watching it. They also spoke about their own dogs, and what they do when they are alone.

One thing is certain: You are going to love this video. Watch it twice, it's worth the smile.

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
