Shelter Dog with Sensitive Stomach Thriving Thanks to Donated Special Formula Food
Andrea Powell
Just like us, some dogs have sensitive stomachs and need to eat a low-fat diet that is easier to digest.
Sadly, dogs in shelters are given a variety of food based on what is donated. This fluctuation in food can cause issues in sensitive dogs like Milo.

The four-year-old poodle mix was surrendered to A Lab for Life and was doing well in his new foster home until he consumed some high-fat food. The rescue shared with us, "His foster didn’t know he had a sensitive stomach, and he suddenly suffered a severe pancreatitis episode that required an emergency vet visit."
Milo was in rough shape but slowly started to improve thanks to his dedicated caretakers and your donations that provided Royal Canin Gastrointestinal food to help him heal.

He has fully recovered and is doing well on the new food. Milo thanks you for your support. The rescue said, "We are so grateful for this generous donation—it truly made a difference in his life!"

Milo is still looking for his person. He promises to bring joy and laughter to a home and a lot of love. He is described as a 78-pound lap dog who will "squish right into your heart (and your personal space) with his endless love and goofy antics." Learn more about him by visiting the rescue's website.
