Cat Dumped on Shelter Bench is Now Thriving Thanks to Your Donations

Gary arrived at a shelter in Oklahoma the way that many animals have recently, dumped outside with no history or explanation.

The sweet feline was left in a crate on a bench outside Pets & People Humane Society. When staff opened the crate, Gary walked right out, and it was clear that this Manx cat was super friendly.

He let his personality shine as he warmed up to staff and volunteers. Thanks to your donations, Gary is thriving.

He was able to find the perfect litter - it only took six tries - to find one that suited him.

But that's not all. Gary, like most cats, expects royal treatment and will only eat certain canned cat food, sleep in a specific bed, and use one scratching posts.

The shelter is grateful for the donations which makes caring for cats like Gary a little easier. They told us, "From all of us that have had the privilege of cleaning and caring for Gary we would like to say thank you."

Rescues and shelters are overwhelmed as stray and abandoned animals continue to arrive at already crowded facilities. While most of their limited budgets go towards food, little is left for other needs.

Help spoil the cats and kittens in shelters across the country by donating essential supplies to make their stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Every dollar helps!
