Your donations are enhancing the lives of shelter animals. Read how your support helped transform a frightened mama dog.

A pregnant dog named Ginger was dumped by her owner at a local lake. She was mistreated her whole life and was leery of humans.

Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts (CARE) was contacted and a volunteer went to rescue the scared dog. It took a lot of coaxing before Ginger would allow anyone to get near her.

The rescue shared, "She was so underweight and clearly had been neglected for a long time. She had a long road ahead. That afternoon Ginger was quickly settled into a caring foster home just hours before she started giving birth."

She became the proud mama to nine adorable puppies. Thanks to your support, Ginger and all her puppies received the food and care they needed to heal.

Your donations are making a difference and the rescue is so grateful for the help. "Ginger and her nine puppies received the high-quality nutrition they desperately needed to recover and thrive. Because of this incredible donation, ten lives were changed for the better."

Ginger has finally realized that not all humans are bad and is experiencing love for the first time in her life. She has transformed into a playful and friendly dog.

More Help is Needed

Animal rescues and shelters nationwide are overcrowded and need help feeding all the animals in their care. Donate today to help feed more hungry shelter animals while they wait for a forever home.

Your daily action on The Animal Rescue Site are also helping feed shelter animals across the country.

Every time you click, play trivia, and shop, you are helping feed shelter pets. These actions take a few minutes each day but have a huge impact in the lives of homeless dogs and cats.

Animal shelters are overcrowded and rely on donations to feed all the animals in their care. We want to thank you for taking the time to help animals daily.
