Injured Labrador Puppy Discarded Like Trash Finally Gets Care He Needs

Your donations of pet supplies through Greater Good Charities' GOODS Program are transforming the lives of pets, like Tate.

The Labrador retriever puppy was found dumped on a rural road in Oklahoma suffering from a severe eye injury.

The poor pup was in pain and dumped like trash by the person that was supposed to love and care for him. He would not have survived long on his own. Thankfully, he was rescued by A Lab For Life Rescue.

Tate was examined by a vet who determined the only option was to remove the infected eye. The sweet boy underwent surgery and has made a full recovery.

The rescue was able to afford Tate's medical care due to donations and money saved thanks the pet food, treats, and supplies you helped provide through the GOODS program.

The rescue shared with us that Tate is now a happy and healthy puppy who is loving life. They wrote, "TATE is cute as a button, is 3 months old, has a very adventurous spirit and his cuddles. He is potty trained, is great around other dogs, kids and everyone he meets. TATE always wants to be with his foster mom or wants to be playing with his fur brothers and sisters. We could say he has FOMO- fear of missing out. TATE loves to be outside playing with his toys, and due to his energy level he would do best in a home with another younger dog."

The friendly boy has been adopted and will live the rest of his life in a loving home.

The rescue is so grateful for the support and said, "Tate would not have received the care he so desperately needed without the amazing assistance from the GOODS Program! Rescues absolutely could not continue saving near as many lives without the support of this amazing program!"

GOODS lends a helping hand to overwhelmed shelters and rescues by sending much-needed pet food, treats, and supplies. Thank you for your continued support. Tate and thousands more who have been helped by your donations send their thanks.
