Kitten Named Ravioli is '100% in Love' with Bed You Helped Donate

Dolly's Cat Sanctuary and Rescue

Waiting for a home of your own at an animal shelter can sometimes take months. For recent arrivals, too, the new environment may be a little scary. A snuggly item can go a long way to provide a little comfort, and a tiny pasta-named baby has been snuggling it up with an item recently donated to his shelter.

Thanks to your clicks, trivia participation, shopping for a cause, and direct donations, we’re able to work with our partner Greater Good Charities and other organizations to provide a wide range of supplies to shelters. While food and vaccines cover the necessities, a bed is just as important, because it makes the shelter feel a bit more like home.

SEND CARE PACKAGES TO SHELTER CATS

Ravioli the kitten has practically claimed a donated bed as his home at Dolly’s Cat Sanctuary and Rescue, where he was taken after being found in a car’s wheel well.

The rescue says, “One thing we go through a lot of as a rescue is pet beds, especially since most don’t hold up after a few hundred washes, so when I saw this bed in with the donations, I was so excited and thankful! Little Ravioli is also 100% in love with this beautiful pet bed. Anytime I need to find him, I know where I can look. And he’s not the only one; this bed is never without a kitten.”

This has helped Ravioli “appreciate the finer things in life”, Dolly’s adds. They say that these sorts of supplies are also important in teaching former strays that they can enjoy life with humans.
