Romania has one of the largest stray populations in the world. Several animal organizations are trying to feed, care, and reduce populations with spay and neuter - but need help.

Save the Dogs and Other Animals has been caring for the stray and mistreated animals since 2016. They strive to get them the care they need before finding them a loving home, often in other countries.

They also attempt to reduce the astounding number of strays in the area by offering free spay and neuter clinics.

However, they are in desperate need of support as the increase in cost of living has reduced donations and adoptions.

Dogs are staying with them longer and costs of essentials are also taking a toll on their funds. They shared, "Costs of dog food and vet bills have risen considerably over recent years and so continuing their vital work in the local community as well as meeting increasing costs is a struggle."

They rely on donations and are beyond grateful for your support which has delivered dozens of pallets of nutritious dog food to feed over 200 dogs they have in their care.

The food will not only fill the dogs' bellies but will also allow the organization to continue to provide the free spay clinic to reduce the number of unwanted puppies and kittens.

They continue to educate the community on how to properly care for their pets and are working together to care for local strays.

Rescuing and caring for homeless animals in a team effort, so thank you for being part of the team with your generous donations.
