Your donations are helping improve the lives of rescue dogs like Josey.

Neighbors in rural Oklahoma became concerned for a dog they saw tied outside in the heat, so they called Fur Babies Adoptions & Rescue for help.

The rescue did a welfare check and found the senior dog named Josey was being kept in horrible conditions. The poor dog was tied to a tree with no shelter or food and barely able to move around.

"The weeds surrounding this area were taller that he was! You could hardly see this older boy or the physical shape he was in," recalls the rescue. "Just from his condition it was clear this boy needed a savior."

The rescue saved him and thanks to your donations were able to provide nutritious dog food to help him regain his strength and regain weight.

Josey devours the delicious food and will never go hungry again. The sweet senior is finally experiencing love and is so grateful for your support.

His caretakers told us, "With lots of love, care, veterinary attention and nutritious food, Josey got his health back with us!"

More Help is Needed

Animal rescues and shelters nationwide are overcrowded and need help feeding all the animals in their care. Donate today to help feed more hungry shelter animals while they wait for a forever home.

Your daily action on The Animal Rescue Site are also helping feed shelter animals across the country.

Every time you click, play trivia, and shop, you are helping feed shelter pets. These actions take a few minutes each day but have a huge impact in the lives of homeless dogs and cats.

Animal shelters are overcrowded and rely on donations to feed all the animals in their care. We want to thank you for taking the time to help animals daily.
