Grandmother Passes Away But She Leaves Behind A Gift That Has Everyone Smiling

When a family member dies, it is one of the most difficult times in our lives. We often struggle to figure out how to feel and our grief can sometimes get the best of us.

Perhaps one grandmother know this all too well so when she died because she made sure to leave something behind that would keep everyone laughing. In fact, she did such a good job of it that her granddaughter took a picture of it and posted it on Twitter.

So, what was left behind that had that effect on everyone? It was a card with the message: "Let's keep in touch." Then, on the bottom of the card was a small Ouija board.

Gracie Perryman was the grandaughter on hand who decided to share the experience with the world. She posted the picture, along with the caption: "Received this at my grandma's funeral. What an icon."

According to Today, the photo was posted after her grandmother, Jodie Perryman, died of cancer when she was 81 years old. She made the cards and miniature Ouija boards when she was dying to give people something to smile about.

Perhaps that is why it is no surprise that her obituary spoke of her having a clever sense of humor and a quick wit.

When people at the funeral opened their envelopes, they were really chuckling.

Gracie said: "It was hilarious because that was so her."

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
