Greyhound Found Outside A Train Station Has The Best Way Of Thanking His Human For Rescuing Him

Life can be difficult when you are a dog living on the street. You have to fight from one day to the next just to survive, and you don't even know if you are going to get a break.

At times, these dogs are taken off the streets but they don't always find a forever home that they need right away. People adopt dogs, but there aren't enough people stepping up to do the right thing.

According to Geobeats Animals, Mango found himself in such a situation. He was severely underweight when he was first seen in a photo through Grateful Greyhounds.

Blake and Dane had been looking for the right dog to call their own. Could it be that Mango was the right dog for them?

When Mango was first found, he was wandering the streets and malnourished. He was only about a year old when they found him at the train station in Spain.

After Blake and Dane saw a picture of Mango, they knew he was the right dog for them. They didn't even know anything else about him, but they knew they had a home and he belonged in it.

Mango had an eight-hour flight ahead of him to get from Spain to JFK airport. After he arrived at his new forever home, he got comfortable very quickly.

The first thing that Mango wanted was a little attention from his new human parents. They shared with GeoBeats Animals that he struggled to live in the house for a while as he got accustomed to the surroundings, but Blake and Dane were patient with them.

They put Mango in a professional training class and he learned the basic commands. They found out that he was a very smart dog.

Blake and Dane also needed Mango for another reason. In the span of one year, they lost five of their grandparents and Mango was there to help them grieve.

It's amazing that he provided them with the love they needed and that love went both directions.

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
