Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are mourning the loss of their beloved 18-year-old dog Betty.
On Saturday, September 5th, the singer and songwriter of rock band No Doubt posted the heartbreaking news on Instagram and wrote, "It’s with the heaviest hearts that we share our sweet betty has gone to heaven 💔🕊️🐾 she made us all smile for 18 years… we’re going to miss her forever. thank u betty for all the love + joy u brought into our lives."

Photos and video clips of Betty through the years were shared as well. She was one loved dog and will be deeply missed.
She even made an appearance in her parent's duet music video “Nobody But You”, the song playing on the heartfelt post.
During an interview six years ago, when the song was released, the couple talked about Betty in the video and were asked if she gets jealous. Blake responded by saying, "She's Gwen's dog now". Gwen said, "She loves both of her parents".

Betty was Blake's dog before he started dating Gwen and then quickly warmed up to her and her kids.
Friends and fans have sent their condolences in the comments and share in their grief as they remember their lost pets. It is the hardest part of owning a dog, saying goodbye when it is time from them to cross the Rainbow Bridge.

RIP, Betty.
