Mia's life changed in an instant from a loving home with her person to alone in a shelter. It happened because her owner passed away, leaving this sweet dog heartbroken and homeless. 

Dog's love with their whole hearts and grieve the loss of a loved one. For the past two years, Mia lived a great life filled with love, comfort, and joy. She hopes to experience that again. 

There is still hope in her eyes as well as sadness as she adjusts to her new life. She arrived at Humane Society of Broward County where staff and volunteers found a way to cheer her up. 

In a video shared on TikTok, they brought out a crate full of toys for her to pick from and her tail immediately wagged with excitement. Mia proceeded to pick a ball and got a case of the zoomies around the play yard. She rolled on her back with joy as she held the ball in her mouth.

Now, she just needs someone to play ball with. 

Her caretakers shared that she is an affectionate, playful, and loving dog who just wants to find someone to love again. She enjoys meeting new people, maybe a little too much, but quickly settles down.
