In any case, it can be traumatic when we are exposed to such a situation. A horse named Calavera knows this very well.

Calavera's human realizes that in the past, the horse was abused. Even so, he needed to wear the blanket, although he was traumatized whenever she got close to him.

As the human continues to try to put the blanket on the horse, he continues to let her know he doesn't want to wear it. This was quite a predicament.

He was quivering when the blanket came close to him. His human knew that he should wear it so he didn't lose weight outside in the cold, but she started to consider if his mental health was worth the stress.

A video was taken of the interaction, and it has really touched people online. It was captioned, "Sometimes it's best to just give up."

When she finally does give up and drops the blanket, Calavera is so grateful that he leans into her for a hug.

In the video, they said they noticed when he is too far gone to wear the blanket and begins to shake.

Many people who watch the video were impressed with how she handled the situation. The horse wasn't being aggressive, he just needed someone to care enough to do the right thing.

More than likely, the former owner had forced the blanket on him and left it on him for months at a time.

She wrote about the condition, saying: "Forcing it on jum-fighting, blinding him, hitting, threatening, yelling, backing him into a wall, holding him down. Leaving it on for months on end – not taking it off when the day time is warm enough for no blanket just because it will be cold at night."
