Dozens of shelter pets that found themselves in the middle of a disaster zone after Hurricane Helene and Milton are finally safe.

Greater Good Charities' (GGC) evacuation flights have rescued hundreds of shelter pets waiting for homes prior to the hurricanes and flew them to states with open kennels and adopters waiting to meet them.

For weeks, shelters and homes in hard-hit Southeast have been without power and water. Crews are working hard to restore these vital utilities. In the meantime, people and pets are surviving on the supplies you helped provide.
