Jax The Staffy Finally Goes Home After After Spending Two Days Stuck In A Cave

We would do anything to ensure that our family's dogs are well cared for.

At times, however, they could get into some mischief, or something unexpected happens that makes us stop and think about all they mean to us.

That is what happened with one woman who lost her dog in a most frightening way. According to the Daily Mail, she went on Facebook to ask for help after her dog had become trapped in a cave.

She knew she couldn't get the dog out on her own because heavy machinery would be needed to get through the rocks. The Internet came through, and this story has a happy ending.

It all got started in the area of Wyong Creek, New South Wales. Deborah May was walking her dog when he fell through an opening and got wedged between the boulders.

Her dog, a Staffy named Jax, was in trouble. The Daily Telegraph reported that Debra feared she would not see her dog again.

That is when people started showing up. Volunteers came out to help get Jax out of the cave, and there were so many people that they had to turn someone away.

Some of the people who came out knew what they were doing. This included Central Coast Volunteer Rescue, Cave Rescue owners, and friends. It still took two days for them to get the dog out, and during that time, Deborah was afraid she might never see her dog again.

According to the Daily Mail, she said: "We thought we would be saying our goodbyes to him last night. We were devastated thinking no one could get him out."

Thankfully, they were able to get Jax out of the predicament, and he is now recovering. Jake Cassar Official shared a video of the rescue on Facebook so you can check it out below:

After being given a bath, he could sleep it off, and I'm sure he is getting all of the TLC he needs.
