Woman Can't Keep The Dog She Rescued So Her Parents Step Up To Help
When we see a dog in need, our heart really goes out to them. We try to do what we can to help, but not all of us are in a position to help to the full.
At times, this may even include somebody who makes it their life's goal to help as many animals as possible. Such was the case with a young woman named McKenzie.
McKenzie runs Pawseactive, which blends her love of yoga and pets. She does what she can to help as many animals as possible, and that includes one animal she found hiding in the trees.
That little dog, Steppy, was a skinny stray dog McKenzie found along the road hiding in some trees. She was sickly and was missing most of her fur at the time.
According to The Dodo, when the two found each other, it was obvious that the dog felt love at first sight. She absolutely loved being around McKenzie and would cuddle her at every opportunity.
The problem was McKenzie lived in Antigua and could not take care of the dog. She wasn't allowed to have dogs where she lived.
This created quite a predicament because she wanted to care for the dog, and she didn't want to give her up. That is when she turned to the two people she knew would do the right thing: her parents.
Her parents agreed to foster the dog, but they had another problem. Her parents lived in New Jersey, and this was during the pandemic.
Fortunately, The Dodo shared that they found a cargo plane heading to New Jersey, and they put the dog on board. Not only did they foster the dog, they decided to give her a forever home.
This is good news for McKenzie, who was able to place the dog in a loving home and gets to visit anytime she goes home to see her parents.

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
