Ukraine Dog With Large Head Wound Rescued Near Frontlines Needs Our Help
WARNING: Graphic images
Meet Mark.
This poor dog was found near the frontlines in Ukraine with a massive wound on his head. Flies were covering his face as rescuers from Animal SOS Odessa rushed to save him.
Mark was brought to a vet clinic where he was diagnosed with venereal sarcoma, a contagious tumorous cancer common in dogs, and malnutrition. His fur was matted and covered in mud, and who knows the last time he had a nutritious meal.
The sweet fella is finally safe and getting the care he needs. He managed to survive on the war-torn streets and is not giving up. He needs our support to beat this disease and regain his health.
The rescue reached out to Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund to help with his medical bills. The fund has saved countless lives thanks to your continued support. Animals who arrive in need of medical care and emergency surgeries, like Mark, are able to get the care they need and go on to find loving homes.
His recovery will involve months of chemotherapy and ongoing care. He has been through so much and deserves a second chance to find a loving home away from the war zone.
You can help Mark get the treatment he needs to heal. Your gift will not only give him the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover his ongoing care.
Help us meet our goal of $6,000 for Mark and pets like him.
