People In Turkey Left Baffled Over Bizarre Pink Cloud

People across the Bursa region of Turkey were left puzzled when a strange pink cloud formed overhead.

The cloud resembled a UFO of sorts, leaving many onlookers just as confused as they were concerned.

Twitter user, engineer, and author Tansu YEĞEN shared about the unusual cloud in a tweet that read, "Turkey's Bursa region witnessed an incredible cloud formation…"

The post included video footage of the pink UFO-like cloud that left people baffled.

Some people believe the unusual sighting was a lenticular cloud. According to the Met Office, the "lens-shaped orographic wave clouds form when the air is stable and winds blow across hills and mountains from the same or similar direction at different heights through the troposphere."

The website further explains that the clouds look "a lot like the traditional shape of flying saucers in science fiction, and real lenticular clouds are believed to be one of the most common explanations for UFO sightings across the world."

After seeing the pink cloud that appeared in Turkey, you'll understand how they get mistaken for UFOs so often!
