Maine Police Department Surprises 4-Year-Old Boy On His Birthday
When it comes to making a birthday special, this group of local police officers in Maine really went above and beyond to ensure that one little boy had the best, most unforgettable birthday surprise ever!
It all started when the young boy, Myles Roman, went to his local Scarborough Police Department in order to drop off an invitation to his upcoming birthday party.
The department shared on their Facebook page, "He dropped off an invitation inviting the ENTIRE POLICE DEPARTMENT to his birthday party! Myles' mother told us how excited Myles was to have special guests come to his party, so of course, we couldn't let him down."
They weren't about to let the young boy down. As a result, several of the department's officers, including the K9 officer on staff named Tucker, showed up to attend Myles' birthday party. They didn't come empty-handed either, they brought him some very cool birthday gifts as well.
The Scarborough Police Department wrote of the day, "Myles and his friends were very excited to see the police cars, fire trucks, ambulance and obviously K9 Tucker! Sgt. Flynn presented Myles with some birthday gifts (Paw Patrol of course…) and Ofc. Greenleaf brought some Scarborough PD SWAG for Myles and his friends."
In addition to showing up and bringing gifts, the Scarborough Police Department also gave Myles a tour of their station.
It was a dream come true for Myles, as his mother, Alyssa, said, "Ever since, he's always saying he wants to be a police officer."
