Railroad Worker Rescues Scared Raccoon Frozen To The Tracks
A heroic railroad worker went out of his way to save a scared raccoon that was frozen to the railroad tracks and he's going viral for his efforts.
While some people might see an animal in need and look the other way, Mullis knew that the raccoon would be hit by a train if he didn't act fast.
The poor thing had somehow managed to get his bum hair frozen to the tracks and he was unable to move.
35-year-old Neil Mullis from Cochran, Georgi spotted the raccoon on the tracks and immediately jumped into action.
Mullis shared a video of the stuck raccoon on TikTok with the caption, "Life lesson …don't sit a wet a$$ on cold rail."
In a follow-up video, Mullis explained that he was able to free the little critter using warm water and a shovel.
He added that the raccoon didn't want to get hit by a train as much as Mullis didn't want to get bit by the raccoon, so they had an unspoken agreement to cooperate with each other.
