Rescue Prairie Dogs Follow Their Human Around And Demand Snuggles

When people think of snuggly pets, they usually imagine cats or dogs. However, a lot of animals show affection and love to snuggle, including prairie dogs!

According to Cuddle Buddies, Pablo and Pedro were wrongly purchased as pets by people who didn't realize how much work it takes to care for prairie dogs.

Sarah heard that their owner was looking to rehome them and she offered to take them in as her own.

Because their owners didn't socialize them properly, Pablo and Pedro were really skittish at first. However, Sarah worked with them patiently and it wasn't long before they started to open up to her. Now, they're incredible affectionate!

According to Cuddle Buddies, Sarah described them as "the most affectionate animals I've ever seen."

She went on to say, "It's not enough to be laying next to you, they have to be on you."

Apparently, Pablo and Pedro refuse to leave Sarah alone now. Pablo will even follow her around the house and demand snuggles! How cute.

Sarah admitted that she didn't fully realize what she was getting herself into when she rescued Pablo and Pedro, but she wouldn't have it any other way.
