We just rescued a dog that’s owner went into a nursing home, the family dropped Brody the dog off at a kennel as well. Brody had a couple overnight visits with a couple families but was returned to the shelter where he called home for three months.

My daughter works for a veterinary clinic in Hood River Oregon, she called me almost in tears trying to find a good home for Brody. I was trying to find a home but was unsuccessful so decided to take him into our home in Tieton Wa.
Brody is a mix of Great Dane with we are not sure yet but have a dna test in the works. He has been an amazing dog, yes a challenge at times but he’s the most loving dog, smart and a good home defense dog, I was a little intimidated by his size at first but he’s a gentle giant.

It’s sad to see some of these dogs have to go through the back and forth, just because they’re big doesn’t mean they’re mean or aggressive dogs at all, they still deserve love and a good home as much as the next dog.
We wouldn’t trade Brody for the world!
