This is Kangaroo Jack. He was born with a disability called radial hypoplasia, which affects his front legs. He has shown me that life may not always be fair, but with strength and perseverance, you can do anything. He is my perfectly imperfect baby, and I love him more than anything.

Radial hypoplasia (RH) in cats is a rare congenital, often genetic condition in which one or both front legs are shortened, bent, or twisted due to underdeveloped radius bones.

Often called “twisty cats” or “squittens,” these cats typically adapt by walking on their hind legs, hopping like rabbits, or moving on their elbows. While some cases require surgical intervention or splinting, many live long, happy lives with special care.
