In March 2014, I traveled to visit my aunt in Puerto Rico. When I arrived she told me that a small pup was left on her door step crying. She told me she took the pup to one of her clients. That afternoon, she took me to her clients house.

I immediately fell in love with Chilindrina. She was the smallest dog I've ever seen. She had spunk. She ran after the roosters, and followed the older dogs around. Once I petted her, she stayed under me. I was in love. Prior to me leaving to return to the states I took her to the vet. Chilindrina was infested with ticks, and fleas.
The vet treated her for the lil pests, dewormed her and gave her shots. She was 7 weeks and only weighed about 4lbs. My heart was broken.
That night I packed up my luggage and bought my lil baby her bag to travel. The flight home was terrible. She cried the whole way home! Once we arrived to the states, I took her out and held her close.
I knew Chili was for my family. My children greeted her with open arms. When I come home her warm barks, fill my home with love. I don't regret bringing her home. In all her pictures she appears to be smiling.... I'm a proud rescued dog mommy!
