Hi! My name is Sabrina, and I’m from Brazil.

This is Cindy! She was adopted by my brother when she was only three months old, and he gave her to me in January 1999 as my Christmas gift. She is a lovely but very bossy cat! She loves me, my mom, and my brother, but she can’t stand kids or visitors. She has never attacked anyone, but she runs straight to my bed whenever she hears the doorbell ring!

Last year, Cindy developed a problem with her right eye. After many tests and a lot of investigation, she was diagnosed with high blood pressure, which requires daily medication. Unfortunately, the condition damaged her eyesight, and she is now almost completely blind.

Even with this new challenge in her life, she is still the sweetest cat. She comes to the door whenever she hears the sound of my car pulling up in front of the house. She wakes me up every morning asking for food and delights in playing with her toys whenever we play together.

Cindy will turn 16 in November, and hopefully she will stay with us for many more years, showing us every day exactly who is the boss of the house!
