Hundreds of Homeless Cats Get Nutritious Food, Many for the First Time

Romania has one of the largest stray animal populations with countless cats roaming the streets looking for food and shelter.

Thanks to your generous donations, hundreds of cats are devouring nutritious food at a local shelter called Help Lăbuș.

The shelter is caring for over 300 cats that were rescued off the street, abandoned, or mistreated. One of the rescued felines is named Mimi.

She lost one eye due to an untreated eye infection when she was living on the streets. She now spends her days being loved on by staff and volunteers instead of searching for food and shelter. She is finally safe and enjoying her life as an indoor cat.

Mimi is just one of hundreds of cats that are enjoying the food your donations helped provide. The shelter is grateful for the support and said, "For many of these animals, it was the first time they tasted premium nutrition—essential for healing, immune support, and recovery after years of hardship. This single pouch of food represents more than a meal. It represents hope, respect, and the belief that no animal, no matter how broken or forgotten, is beyond care."

The shelter can use the saved money on food to sterilize more animals to help reduce the number of animals on the streets and provide medical care to those in need.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Join us in helping more homeless animals by donating here. Together, we CAN make a difference.
