Gentle Rottweiler Plays Tug Of War With Feisty Magpie Bird
Rottweilers are often stereotyped as being aggressive and brutal dogs that should be kept away from small children or other animals. However, those who are familiar with the breed know that they can really be giant teddy bears deep down.
According to the American Kennel Club, a rottweiler is known as "a gentle playmate and protector within the family circle."
One rottweiler who fits that description perfectly is Jack.
TikTok user @windsorau regularly shares videos of Jack and his unusual BFF on TikTok. Jack's friend? A magpie named Meg!
Funny enough, the unlikely friends can often be found playing tug of war or getting into some kind of friendly kerfuffle. They're always in a competition over a stick, a toy, or something else, and it's quite entertaining to watch.
"These 2 just never quit," the TikTok user shared in a video.
It's unclear how the wild magpie ended up forming a bond with Jack the rottie, but it seems like the bird isn't going anywhere anytime soon. She enjoys the company of her canine friend too much to leave!
